Director of Residential Management
Marnie leads the management and operations for One Light as well as future properties. As director, she oversees all aspects of property management ensuring excellent service is delivered.
Marnie has more than 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry, spanning luxury rental apartments, townhome communities and also affordable, student and senior housing properties. She is a graduate of the Apartment Association of Kansas City Lyceum Program, has her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor Designation, as well as Certified Apartment Manager from the National Apartment Association and currently serves on the Apartment Association of Kansas City Board of Directors.
Family: Two beautiful daughters – Deavyn and Jazlynn
Pets: A former Heartland SPCA resident pup, Oliver
Hobbies: Reading, antiquing and watching her daughters cheer

Leasing & Communications Manager
Jen manages the social media and communications for One Light Luxury Apartments, keeping employees, residents and prospective residents up to date with company developments.
Jen has 15 years of experience in conflict resolution, social media, event planning and administration. She currently serves on the board for the Downtown Neighborhood Association and is an active member of the Apartment Association of Kansas City.
Family: Four boys – Justin, Brett, Mitch and Charlie
Pets: A 70-lb. German Shepard mix, and former KC Pet Project resident, Jadee
Hobbies: Reading, kickboxing and cheering on her boys

Emelyna overseas the day-to-day operations of One Light Luxury Apartments, manages delinquency and oversees apartment leasing and resident services.
Emelyna has more than 14 years in the multifamily industry, including luxury, affordable and senior housing properties. She is active in the Apartment Association of Kansas City and is a licensed Missouri Real Estate Agent.
Family: An amazing son – Geordan
Hobbies: Traveling, especially wherever there’s a beach, and being involved with a variety of charity organizations

Director of Concierge Services
Eric is the dedicated concierge and sommelier, overseeing the wine and resident event program for One Light Luxury Apartments.
As Managing Partner of Cleaver & Cork, Eric spear-headed the launch of Alex Pope’s Cleaver & Cork in the Kansas City Power & Light District and continues to lead their success. Previously, Eric was with Bluestem Restaurant, where he worked as the general manager under the direction of owner and James Beard Award-winning Chef Colby Garrelts and his wife, Megan. In addition to managing the restaurant, Eric also worked to perfect Bluestem’s wine program as a certified sommelier, earning the restaurant the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
